1891 Census: House name not recorded. Naomi Lintott (64) widowed; her son Arthur Lintott Aylmer (34) married, Captain (ret'd) Durham Light Infantry, Estate Agent's Clerk; her son Walter Lintott (28) Land Agent; her daughter Grace Caroline (26) no occupation.
Naomi Fuller married Samuel Lintott on January 18 1845 (Sussex Advertiser announcement). 11 children were born to them over a 20 year period; 8 survived to adulthood. James William 1845; Emily 1847; Rebecca 1849-1867; Alfred 1851; Jane Susannah 1852-died in infancy; Samuel 1854; Arthur 1856; Augustus 1860; Walter 1862; Grace 1865; Clement 1866-1867.
In 1861 this family lived in St John Street. They were still there in 1871. Samuel died in 1873 aged 52. He was a Master Butcher [no will found]. In 1881 Mrs Lintott & family were living in Mount Pleasant, Lewes, and sometime in the next decade they made the move to a brand new house in King Henry's Road.
1901 Census: House name not recorded. Naomi Lintott (74) widowed; her son Walter Lintott (38) Land Agent; her daughter Grace Caroline (36) no occupation; one housemaid, Edith Potter (23) from Ringmer.
Mrs Lintott died in 1907/4 aged 81 [no will found]. Walter died in 1943 aged 80.
Grace married Frederick Burfield Dyer in 1909.
1911 Census: "Fernlea" no schedule entry, so I conclude that this house was unoccupied.
1915 - 1919: Kelly's Directory has J F Howe
1921 Census: "Fairhaven" - Alice Mary Elsdon (72) married; one servant Mable Dorothy Wickham (19) from Tunbridge in Kent. [Mrs Elsdon's husband not recorded here, presumably because he was away. By 1939 Mrs Elsdon was living at "S Magnus" 21 King Henry's Road.]

1935: Kelly's Directory has Major J J Lister
1939 Register: John J Lister (80) D[octor] of L[etters], JP Sussex, Major (ret'd) Territorial Army. He died in 1943 aged 84. One entry officially closed, possibly relating to his wife. 1881 Census: possibly an undergraduate at Oxford.
