Catherine's & Ellen's father William Madgwick married Matilda Rice in 1852.
Ellen married late, aged 48 - in 1907 - to Reginald William Davey (at St George's Hanover Square). Reginald b.1860 died in Eastbourne in 1921 aged 60.
In the 1911 Census Reginald (50) & Ellen (52) were living at 77 Primrose Mansions, Battersea London SW. RW was a stockbroker's manager. There were no children from this marriage.They had one general servant: Louise Augusta Cleopatra Wells (33).

William Madgwick d.1885 in Lewes aged 81. In the 1881 Census he is listed as a farmer in Alciston, employing 20 men & 10 boys.
1905: Kelly's Directory has Lydia Every resident at this address. She was formerly John Every's housekeeper (they were married in 1892).
Lydia S Every died in 1912/2 in Lewes aged 79.
1911 Census: Lydia Sophia Every (78) living with her sister Mary Anne Tune (77) and one servant, Mary Bartholomew (39), a cook from Rodmell. Mary Anne continued to live at "Dallington" until she died in 1921 aged 87. [RGO 1921/2 Lewes 2b 194]

1939 Register: Head of household: Mable L Green (68) single; Jessica A Green (42) - (status married) the manageress and fitter of a gown workroom. Other occupants: Jane Martin (75) 'incapacitated' and a sick nurse, Constance Quelch. Two further entries are 'officially closed'.
